now... i don't miss you persay...

however, the way you made me feel was… i can’t even explain it.

you, yourself, you were a horrible person, that i never want back in my life.

but you made me feel absolutely beautiful.

i miss the way we kissed, hugged, laughed. wrestled, argued, & madeup.

i miss the way you looked at me, and i missed the way you held me in bed.

and i’m deathly afraid no one else will ever make me feel that beautiful again.

that no one else will kiss me, hug me, or want me.

now i don’t miss you persay…

i just miss that feeling… #lesigh.

catching up on this:

Day 02 — Your favorite movie

Love Jones. :) Larenz Tate & Nia Long?

Day 03 — Your views on religion

Touchy. I think religion is understandable, and for many, very necessary. Some people need a REASON to be a good person, and religion serves that purpose. Some may not need a book to tell them what is right & wrong. Religion can teach morals, and through morals you know what is right & wrong, however, spiritually, I believe, you know what is right and wrong already. You know when something is okay & when something is not. Religion just adds justification & reasoning, that not everybody may need. IDK, that probably doesn’t make much sense, but I’ll redo this answer later when I really sit & think about it. OH, and this point probably doesn’t make sense, but I think religion is a good idea on paper, but instead of making people more unified, comfortable, and righteous, it almost does the opposite for many - ostracizes them, dehumanizes some, and judges most. Religion should alleviate uncertainty, not be the cause it.

Day 04 — Your favorite book

The Autobiography of Malcolm X, followed by The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald, Cotton Candy on a Rainy Day (poems) by Nikki Giovanni, and this book called Intuition I read my freshman year of college.

Day 05 — Your favorite quote

I have many but:

Then I had a thought: maybe I didn’t break Big. Maybe the problem was he couldn’t break me. Maybe some women aren’t meant to be tamed. Maybe they need to run free, until they find someone just as wild to run with. - Carrie, Sex & The City

that’s my favorite right now, I’ve been obsessed with SATC lately. I feel like this quote relates to me to a T… I’m not WILD persay, but I feel like I’m un-tamable, in a sense. I’d go in detail… but… nah.

Day 06 — 15 random facts about you

- I’m from Oakland, California.

- I have triplet siblings.

- I love eating.

- My car’s name is Maxine :)

- Before I die, I would like to visit Europe, Africa, Asia & South America. Australia is bonus.

- I’m currently addicted to Sex & The City, and I truly believe I am some weird combination of Carrie Bradshaw & Miranda lol.

Day 07 — Do you believe in abortion

do I believe in o_O? Like does it exist? Or do I believe its wrong?

If you’re asking the latter, I do believe abortion is wrong, but I don’t believe it is anyone else’s place to tell a woman what to do with her offspring and her body, other than the woman.
